Our Story
Born from Experience
MulchMapper was created by people who understand the challenges of coordinating large-scale fundraising deliveries.
MulchMapper began in 2022 when our founder, a parent volunteer for a high school lacrosse team, witnessed firsthand the challenges of managing their annual mulch fundraiser. With hundreds of orders to coordinate, dozens of volunteer drivers to manage, and thousands of bags of mulch to deliver across the community, the logistics were overwhelming.
After seeing coordinators struggle with spreadsheets, cell phone picture of delivery notes, and double deliveries, he realized there had to be a better way. Drawing on his software development background, he created a simple application to help streamline the process.
What started as a solution for one school quickly gained attention from other organizations facing similar challenges. The original application evolved into MulchMapper—a comprehensive platform designed specifically for the unique needs of product-based fundraisers with delivery components.
Today, MulchMapper helps schools and organizations across the country run smoother, more efficient fundraisers—allowing them to focus on what matters most: raising funds for their students and community programs.
